If a religion is a system of beliefs, a way of life, a community and a culture rolled into one, then could a church of ethics form and even become wildly popular?

The 1969 concert at Woodstock must have been some kind of fluke. Many attempts have been made at creating another such miracle, and none has succeeded. Here are some of the reasons:

Divorce rates running rampant. Custody in question. Are there fundamental changes we could make to improve the institution of marriage?

 Brad and Toni borrowed Ted's car to go the shore on the 4th of July weekend.  They ran out of gas on a busy highway and were rear ended by another car.  The borrowed car was totalled. Brad and Toni were banged up but otherwise unhurt. Toni now gets physical therapy for her shoulder from the city at no cost.

I am looking for some objective advice.  My wife and I have been close her cousin and his wife.  We were seeing them constantly.  Until a few months ago he was the ethics officer for a large division of a multi-national corporation.  He lived his calling.  He was an ethical family man, close to his daughter and a well respected leader in the extended family.  He was very social and very engaging with many friends.
