MURDER MUSIC: The Life and Work of Carlo Gesualdo

Genius. Madman. Murderer. Carlo Gesualdo killed his wife and her lover, and went on to compose some of the most haunting and revolutionary new music of the Renaissance. This special podcast is a radio drama and live concert featuring members of the Blackbird Theatre Company and the Vocal Arts Ensemble.

With Oliver Darrow as Gesualdo, Dana Sutton as Donna Maria, Barton Bund as Fabrizio Carafa, Adam Rzepka as Tomas and Emily Wilson-Tobin as Lenora. Barton Bund and Adam Rzepka also double as two musicians of Ferrar. The production was written and directed by Barton Bund.
